It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty Christian took on Seton Catholic on Saturday. The Liberty Christian Lions secured a 68-64 W over the Seton Catholic Cardinals. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jason Moynihan, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Feist, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 18 points.

Liberty Christian has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Seton Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian has already played their next game (against Winchester Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Seton Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blue River Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
