Volleyball Recap: Hozho Academy Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Hozho Academy entered their tilt with Dulce on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hawks. This was payback for the Wolves, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

While Hozho Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Dulce scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-19, 17-25, 25-20.

Hozho Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Dulce, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hozho Academy will face off against rival Laguna Acoma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dulce is set to challenge their familiar foe Rehoboth Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
