Volleyball Recap: Pine Lake Prep's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pine Lake Prep walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the North Wilkes Vikings on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Pride sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sophie Chilton paced Pine Lake Prep's offense, picking up 26 kills. Chilton got some help from Payton Bielec and her 54 assists. Phoenix Myers controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Pine Lake Prep's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for North Wilkes, their loss ended a nine-match streak of away wins and brought them to 23-5.

Coming up, Pine Lake Prep will face off against Draughn at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Wilkes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
