Baseball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Dobyns-Bennett Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in March.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Dobyns-Bennett, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-6.

Coming up, Cherokee will face off against Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Dobyns-Bennett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
