Soccer Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Plays to a Tie

Scottsdale Christian Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Mesquite on Friday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Eagles have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Tyler Byars, who's now up to three this season.

With that draw, Scottsdale Christian Academy's record moves to 3-3-2. As for Mesquite, they moved theirs to 3-1-1.

Scottsdale Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 loss against Mingus on the 3rd. Mesquite has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Desert Edge on the 3rd.
