Picayune had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Terry Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. The Maroon Tide have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Picayune's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Terry, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing West Jones the next time they take the pitch. Terry will host West Jones at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Picayune will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
