Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Regina's Winning Streak

After flying high against Mott on Monday, Regina came back down to earth. Regina fell 2-0 to the Stevenson Spartans on Tuesday. Regina's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cate Booms paced Regina's offense, picking up nine kills. Booms got some help from Cat Jenkins and her 12 assists. Booms also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Janusch, each putting up two.

Regina's loss dropped their record down to 20-14-1. As for Stevenson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-18.

Coincidentally, Regina and Stevenson will both be playing Farmington the next time they take the court. Regina will head out to face Farmington at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Stevenson will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
