Soccer Recap: Ryan Comes Up Short

Ryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Argyle Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in February.

Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Argyle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season.

Ryan will head out to face off against Denton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Ryan is facing Denton at the right time seeing as Denton is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Argyle, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Argyle duke it out with Birdville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Their defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Birdville's offense will have their work cut out for them.
