Volleyball Recap: East Tech Comes Up Short

The East Tech Scarabs came up short against the Bedford Bearcats on Friday and fell 3-1. The Scarabs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 25-6.

Bedford found their leader in sophomore Alijah Akins, who had 15 aces and eight digs.

East Tech's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Bedford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

East Tech has already played their next match (against Campus International), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bedford, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kenston at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th.
