The Moore Haven Terriers are taking a road trip to  square off against the Trenton Tigers  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Moore Haven is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6  runs per game  this season.
Moore Haven is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  last Wednesday. They came out on top against Fort Meade by a score of  10-7. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Terriers.
 Charisma Micco made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with one  stolen base and two  RBI.

 In other batting news,  Camryn Prowant and  Khloe Desroche did most of the damage at the plate:  Prowant  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with three  runs and one  stolen base, while  Desroche  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  three  runs gave  Prowant a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Trenton entered their tilt with Williston on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over the Red Devils.
Like Moore Haven, Trenton also got a great game from a two-way player:  Addison Allaire. On the mound, she  struck out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   six  hits. Allaire was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Trenton let  Presley Akins and  Charleigh Philmon run wild. Akins  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Philmon  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and two  doubles.
 Moore Haven's record is now 14-7. As for Trenton, their record now sits at 15-6.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Moore Haven has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.8  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Trenton struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 9.5  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
