Softball Recap: Bangor's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Monday just wasn't the day for Bangor's offense. They fell just short of the Centreville Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Vikings have suffered since May 21, 2024.

Bangor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariana Pearce, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Pearce has hit this season.

Bangor's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-5. As for Centreville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

While Bangor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
