Football Recap: Magnolia Piles Up the Points Against Compton Early College

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Costa Mesa, Magnolia was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix 35-8. The high-scoring effort was just what the Sentinels needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The victory got Magnolia back to even at 1-1. As for Compton Early College, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Magnolia will challenge Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Compton Early College, they will face off against Mark Keppel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
