If Sissonville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Scott, they should've done a better job of containing Jace Watts. The Skyhawks were the clear victors by a 52-31 margin over the Indians on Friday thanks in part to Watts, who shot 56% from the field en route to 13 points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played.

Despite the loss, Sissonville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore June Jackson went 5-for-10 on his way to 11 points.

The win got Scott back to even at 9-9. As for Sissonville, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Coming up, Scott will welcome Charleston Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sissonville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-53 defeat against Philip Barbour on the 16th.
