Volleyball Recap: Frontier's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Frontier lost against Triton back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The loss put an end to the Falcons' undefeated start to the season.

Frontier was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15.

Maella Newcom paced Frontier's offense, picking up 11 kills. Newcom got some help from Aaliyah Tillman and her 12 assists.

Frontier dropped their record down to 3-1 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Triton, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Frontier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Lafayette Jefferson on the 19th. As for Triton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Glenn on the 18th.
