Soccer Game Preview: Splendora vs. Kingwood Park

Splendora is 0-5 against Kingwood Park since February of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Splendora duke it out with Kingwood Park at 7:30 p.m.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Splendora turned things around against Porter on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Wildcats have been dealt a draw since back in January.

Meanwhile, Kingwood Park waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Spartans as they made off with a 7-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Kingwood Park's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five contests. Splendora's draw gives them a new season record of 4-11-6.
