Basketball Recap: Kalida Comes Up Short

If Kalida was feeling good fresh off their 56-21 takedown of Fort Jennings on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 55-18 loss at the hands of the Columbus Grove Bulldogs. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Addilyn Huber, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Kalida's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Columbus Grove, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coincidentally, Kalida and Columbus Grove will both be playing Crestview the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Knights at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will host them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
