Basketball Recap: Winston School of Dallas Victorious

Winston School of Dallas's game on Thursday was all tied up 17-17 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They managed a 37-33 victory over the Great Lakes Academy Gators.

Despite the loss, Great Lakes Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paxton Bruns posted 12 points.

Winston School of Dallas' win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Great Lakes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Winston School of Dallas will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Coram Deo Academy Rhetoric at 2:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Great Lakes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
