Clint waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Fabens Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 two weeks ago.

Nomar Maldonado and Mario Aguirre made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Maldonado pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Aguirre pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Maldonado has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Maldonado went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Aguirre went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. That's the most doubles Aguirre has posted since back in May of 2025.

In other batting news, Clint got a massive performance out of Kevin Pacheco, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Pacheco has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Oscar Maldonado, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Clint always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .605. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fabens only posted an OBP of .289.

Clint's record now sits at 15-10-1. As for Fabens, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Clint by a score of 6-2 on Friday.
