Redmond is a perfect 10-0 against Juanita since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. Redmond will square off against Juanita at 11:00 a.m. Redmond will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Redmond barely beat Eastlake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Redmond was the clear victor by a 17-5 margin over Eastlake on Wednesday. Considering the Mustangs have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ainsley Barcalow was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, Simone Loving-Williams was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Livy Ruess was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

Redmond was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .585. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .429 or higher in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Juanita got the win against Bothell on Friday by a conclusive 10-2. Considering the Ravens have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Juanita is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. Redmond's record now sits at 6-1.

Redmond took their win against Juanita in their previous matchup back in June of 2021 by a conclusive 11-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Redmond since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
