Recap: Challenger Firebirds vs. The Master's Academy Lions
The Challenger Firebirds's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 35-30 W over The Master's Academy. This was payback for Challenger, who suffered a 50-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, The Master's Academy still got an impressive performance from Aiden Holiday, who scored 13 points. The match was Holiday's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Waugh, who scored five points.
Challenger's win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. As for The Master's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

The Master's Academy will take on Lake Lure Classical Academy in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at. Lake Lure Classical Academy will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
