The New Ulm Eagles will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Fairmont Cardinals at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Fairmont took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on New Ulm, who comes in off a win.

New Ulm is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Jordan. The Eagles' defense stepped up to hand the Hubmen / Jaguars a 5-0 shutout on Saturday. The win continues a trend for New Ulm in their matchups with Jordan: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Fairmont unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against La Crescent on Monday, falling 7-0. Fairmont have struggled against La Crescent recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
