For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Jersey Village and Northbrook have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. Jersey Village came out on top against Northbrook by a score of 7-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-1 back in February.

Kaylee Walker and Jordyn Battise did most of the damage at the plate: Walker went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Battise scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Battise has posted since back in February.

Jersey Village hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in three consecutive games.

Jersey Village's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Northbrook, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Coming up, Jersey Village will challenge Cy-Fair at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jersey Village will need to watch out since Cy-Fair has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Northbrook, they will welcome Stratford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
