Baseball Recap: Discovery Spartans vs. Auburndale Bloodhounds
Discovery fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Auburndale on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bloodhounds by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bloodhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-5 back in February.

Tylor Timmons was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Discovery is 3-1 when Timmons allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-11 otherwise.
