Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Basalt). They blew past the Grand Valley Cardinals 7-1 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Basalt considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Basalt's victory bumped their record up to 5-8-2. As for Grand Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-3 record this season.
