Lincoln had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 38-23 victory over the Taylorville Tornadoes on Friday. The Railsplitters haven't had any issues with the Tornadoes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Lincoln's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Karson Komnick, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Hayes, who posted seven points and five steals.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Taylorville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-18 record this season.

Lincoln will take on Mt. Zion at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mt. Zion knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge. Taylorville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
