Volleyball Recap: Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays vs. West Union Dragons
If Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Felicity-Franklin last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Union Dragons on Thursday. The Blue Jays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Lily Randolph was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs.
Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for West Union, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
