The Clinton Central Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Frontier Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Clinton Central managed to slip by Clinton Prairie the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 11-0 to the Gophers on Thursday. The match marked the first time this season in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Clinton Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Boone, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Frontier unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Delphi Community by a score of 4-3.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Clinton Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Clinton Central couldn't quite finish off Frontier when the teams last played back in May of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
