Soccer Recap: Wheatmore Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Wheatmore was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Providence Grove Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Providence Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on October 6th.

Wheatmore's goal came courtesy of Suarez Ortiz, who's now up to 15 this season.

Wheatmore's loss dropped their record down to 9-10. As for Providence Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wheatmore will face off against rival Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Providence Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Thomasville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
