Basketball Game Preview: Waubay/Summit Mustangs vs. Florence/Henry Falcons

The Waubay/Summit Mustangs will take on the Florence/Henry Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Waubay/Summit will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 22-point drubbing they dealt Warner on Friday. Waubay/Summit put the hurt on Warner with a sharp 66-44 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Florence/Henry got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over Great Plains Lutheran on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly 22 points.

Florence/Henry is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points per game. As for Waubay/Summit, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
