Football Game Preview: Flambeau Falcons vs. Rib Lake Redmen

The Flambeau Falcons are taking a road trip to face off against the Rib Lake Redmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Flambeau knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Rib Lake likes a good challenge.

Flambeau is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wisconsin's top teams: Phillips, who was ranked 20th at the time (Flambeau was ranked second). The Falcons blew past the Loggers, posting a 58-8 win. Fans of the Falcons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Meanwhile, Rib Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 46-32 fall against Prentice.

Rib Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Flambeau, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Flambeau was dealt a bruising 50-6 loss at the hands of Rib Lake in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
