Softball Recap: Colleton Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Colleton Prep Academy's offense. They came up short against the Orangeburg Prep Indians on Tuesday, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the War Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Colleton Prep Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Whitley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Colleton Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Orangeburg Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Colleton Prep Academy will venture away from home to square off against Hilton Head Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Colleton Prep Academy is facing Hilton Head Prep at the right time seeing as Hilton Head Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Orangeburg Prep, they will welcome Thomas Sumter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
