Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management lost against St. Thomas Aquinas back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Sports Leadership & Management fell to the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders 54-50. Sports Leadership & Management has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Thomas Aquinas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nyla Mcfadden led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Mcfadden a new career-high in rebounds. London Thomas was another key player, putting up ten points along with five assists and five boards.

Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Sports Leadership & Management will square off against Academy of Central Florida at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they and Schoolhouse Prep will face off at 4:40 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. St. Thomas Aquinas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.1 points per game this season.
