Basketball Recap: Waldport Takes a Loss

Waldport lost against Central Linn back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waldport Irish took a blow against the Central Linn Cobras, falling 56-24. The Irish just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Central Linn, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Coming up, Waldport will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Linn Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. As for Central Linn, they will challenge Toledo at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Linn is facing Toledo at the right time seeing as Toledo is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
