Softball Recap: Westview Chargers vs. Halls Tigers

Westview can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against the Halls Tigers as the Westview Chargers made off with a 12-1 victory. 12 seems to be a good number for Westview as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Lakyn Rogers made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. Rogers was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs.

In other batting news, McCall Simms was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. Hallee Nanney was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
