Volleyball Game Preview: Verndale Pirates vs. Nevis Tigers + How To Watch

The Verndale Pirates will head out to take on the Nevis Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Verndale came up short against Sebeka and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 16-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Nevis waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Nevis' victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Verndale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Verndale suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Nevis when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
