Volleyball Recap: Advance Gets the Win

Advance played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Meadow Heights Panthers. The victory continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won nine in a row.

Advance had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-21.

The win got Advance back to even at 8-8. As for Meadow Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-6.

Advance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Portageville on the 27th. As for Meadow Heights, they will square off against Fredericktown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
