Boardman is 9-1 against Harding since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Boardman will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding at 5:00 p.m.

Boardman is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 8-1 to Hoover on Friday.

Gummy Hart made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Hart was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Khalef Freeman was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jacob Borsic was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Harding hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bristol struck out eight times.
