Rancho Bernardo made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mira Mesa, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Broncos fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 64-61 on Tuesday. On the bright side, the 61- point effort marked the Broncos' highest-scoring contest to date.

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brady Savage, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Cyrus Sadri-Ahwazi, who posted ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Rancho Bernardo's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4. As for Mira Mesa, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Rancho Bernardo has already played their next game, a 66-65 victory against Rancho Buena Vista on the 4th. As for Mira Mesa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-60 win against Victory Christian Academy on the 5th.
