Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Kearsarge

Kearsarge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Stevens Cardinals. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2025.

Charley Mae Richard 2028 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Leblanc 2029, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Aiken 2028, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Kearsarge's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Stevens, they dropped their record down to 6-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Kearsarge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stevens, they will venture away from home to take on Fall Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
