Baseball Recap: Williams Field Victorious

Williams Field's tournament run continued when they took on ALA - Gilbert North on Friday. The Williams Field Black Hawks came out on top against the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles by a score of 8-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Black Hawks.

Sterling Williams tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Williams Field got a massive performance out of Jaxson Triggs, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Triggs has posted since back in March of 2024. Asher Landry was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 4-for-4.
