Football Recap: Perry Hall Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Perry Hall's offense. They were outmatched by the Milford Mill Academy Millers and fell 59-0. The Gators lost against the Millers in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-20 score last time.

Milford Mill Academy's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Newberns, who picked up 72 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 53 yards. Another player making a difference was Mi'Cah Williams, who rushed for 34 yards and one touchdown.

Perry Hall is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Milford Mill Academy, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Perry Hall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 29-20 victory against Parkville on the 26th. As for Milford Mill Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-0 win against Catonsville on the 26th.
