Volleyball Recap: Skyview Takes Down Ranked Meridian

Skyview faced Meridian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Hawks blew past the Warriors 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-8, 25-15.

Skyview was led to victory by Chloe Lin and Lizzy Bower. Lin had five aces and three digs, while Bower had nine digs and four aces. What's more, Lin racked up 19 assists, the most she's had over her last nine contests.

They weren't the only good servers: Skyview was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matches.

Skyview's record now sits at 22-6. As for Meridian, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

As of now, neither Skyview nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
