Old Lyme took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the St. Bernard Saints. Old Lyme haven't had any issues with St. Bernard recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Old Lyme and St. Bernard will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wildcats see the pitch they'll take on Grasso RVT at 4:00 p.m. on September 2. As for St. Bernard, their break will end when they face Montville at 6:00 p.m. on September 2.
