With the regular season in Texas getting ready to conclude this weekend, two top 10 rivals are preparing to clash Friday when No. 10
Summer Creek (Houston) hits the road to tackle No. 5
Atascocita (Humble).
Atascocita, who has won all nine contests in this series since 2014, is led by LSU commit Jelani Watkins, Texas pledge Nate Kibble and junior four-star running back Tory Blaylock. The Eagles bring an offense to the battle that has scored 40 points or more seven times and averages more than 52 points per contest.
LSU commit Xavier Atkins and junior four-star edge Chad Woodford leads Summer Creek's defense. The Bulldogs stop unit has posted a couple of shutouts and has held six foes to 14 points or less on the year while allowing just over 11 points an outing.
