After losing to Blackhawk the last time they met, North Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Trojans came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 7-4 on Monday.

Jake McKee and Adam Mashuda did most of the damage at the plate: McKee went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Mashuda went 2-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those four runs gave Mashuda a new career-high.

North Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Blackhawk, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

North Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against Blackhawk: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
