Softball Recap: Sentinel Takes a Loss

Sentinel was the 17-3 winner over Billings Senior when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Sentinel lost 9-3 to Billings Senior on Friday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKenna Strab was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Haley Sellers, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Sentinel now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Billings Senior, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Sentinel and Billings Senior will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Sentinel will take on rival Capital at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Billings Senior is set to challenge their familiar foe Belgrade at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
