Basketball Recap: Northeast Nodaway's Win Ends 15-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for Northeast Nodaway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 37-28 win over the DeKalb Tigers on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Jays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Northeast Nodaway's victory ended a 15-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-9. As for DeKalb, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Northeast Nodaway will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Nodaway-Holt at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for DeKalb, they and St. Joseph Christian will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
