Softball Recap: Silverdale Academy Wins Going Away Against Geneseo

Silverdale Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Geneseo on Tuesday. The Silverdale Academy Seahawks blew past the Geneseo Maple Leafs 10-4. Considering the Seahawks have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Silverdale Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Giana D'Amico, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave D'Amico a new career-high in hits. Another was Kenslee Stiner, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Silverdale Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Geneseo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Silverdale Academy will face off against Grace Baptist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th. Silverdale Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Grace Baptist Academy's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Geneseo, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Sherrard at 4:30 p.m. on March 27th.
