Soccer Recap: Maine East Takes a Loss

Maine East lost against Niles North back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Demons came up short against the Vikings, falling 8-0. Maine East just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Maine East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Niles North, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 5-10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Maine East will face off against rival Highland Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Niles North is set to challenge their familiar foe Niles West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
