Basketball Recap: Ripon Christian Piles Up the Points Against Chavez

Ripon Christian not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 23rd (when they won 74-31). They claimed a resounding 64-37 win over the Chavez Titans. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 342nd, while the Titans are ranked 847th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jake Vander Veen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 24 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in each of the last eight games he's played dating back to last season. Chase Bunnell was another key player, posting 11 points.
